News: The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society with Nancy Lewis on March 2nd and 9th
The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows is a delightful epistolary novel which many of you may have already read. Our discussions will center around the Nazi occupation of the island of Guernsey and the relationships which were developed and which enabled the residents to make it through the almost six-year occupation.
Nancy Lewis, leader for this class, is a constant reader, founder of FUMC’s Book Group, and popular teacher of adult classes at FUMC.
