items and coordinate miscellaneous serving items (utensils, glasses,
etc.) with host family
- Select a host/hostess
gift for host family
At
November board meeting:
- solicit four
volunteers to bring desserts to the party,
- Write and pass out
names for secret Santa gifts from board members to be given to staff.

FUMP Newsletter

Compose
and submit a brief article for the FUMP newsletter. The article should address your position on
the board and how that area impacts and enriches FUMP. Your article is due by the 25th
of February. This article will be published in the March newsletter. Email
your submission to preschool@fumcaustin.org

Staff/Board Luncheon

Coordinate
board/staff spring luncheon
- Confirm date with
director (usually held at noon on Thursday of spring parent conference
day)
- Choose and contact
caterer to reserve date
- Contact FUMC child
care coordinator regarding child care for the luncheon
- Confirm with
preschool office that work order has been sent

All School Picnics
|
Coordinate
school picnics:
- Choose and contact
caterer and reserve date.
- Double check the
church website to confirm event has been reserved
- Request menu order
forms to be distributed two full weeks prior to picnics. Deadline should
be the Monday prior to the picnic. Payments should be made payable to
FUMP. Also, forms should have
space to ask for parent donations for teachers’ lunches.
- Order 2 additional
lunches per day to allow for mistakes/omissions.
- Preschool office will
review, copy and distribute menu forms to families and staff and collect
forms on preschool office door.
- Contact volunteer coordinator/room reps
regarding 3 dozen commercially prepared cupcakes for picnic. Cupcakes should be delivered for
Thursday picnic. (PENDING ROOM
REP DECISION)
