SOCIAL JUSTICE TEAM NEWS AND EVENTS
August 31,2008 Fifth Sunday Activity. The Social Justice Team will offer a church-wide Sunday School lesson on a social justice issue.
June 15, 2008 The Social Justice Team sponsored the Father’s Day Tool Offering.
May 18, 2008 Peace With Justice Sunday. The Social Justice Team sponsored the 2008 Peace With Justice Sunday offering.
April 25, 2008 Amos Commission Training. Several members of the congregation participated in the church’s first effort at Amos Commission Training.
April 20, 2008 Earth Day Sunday. The Social Justice Team sponsored the church’s annual Earth Day Fair. The Social Justice Team also launched the sale of their First United Methodist Church canvas bags.
